Shawn:
A meal is a conversation. If you are a guest in my restaurant, when we cook for you, we are talking to you.

When Frank and I dine together or with friends and family, food can be a way to talk to each other. Meals often mark things, a celebration, a serious discussion, bridging a gap, a chance to reconnect.

When I cook for Frank I’m saying I’m thinking of you. Food can excite, soothe, nourish. For me…food equals pleasure. Pure entertainment.
